Jones Engineering Group are a global leader in engineering having started out from humble beginnings way back in 1890. Stepaside F.C, having only been founded in 2018, is delighted to have Jones on board as sponsor for this event.
Jones has a proud tradition of sponsoring sporting clubs and community events, and we see many of the core values we have in our club mirrored in the ethos and pursuit of excellence of Jones Engineering.
Jones cite recruiting, nurturing and developing the best people as the cornerstone of their Group’s development and are the largest trainer of construction apprentices in Ireland with 250+ apprentices in their employment annually. This mission in developing young people to be the best they can be is something we strive for at every training session, every match.
At Jones, they are extremely aware of the demand for responsible business behaviour with issues relating to sustainability, ethics and respect for all. They are extremely passionate about culture, diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace and recognise the impact they have both on their environment and the society in which they operate. From their charitable activities, sponsorship of events and planting of orchards across Ireland, they have a keen awareness of community and these values fit with what Stepaside F.C. is striving to achieve.
We look forward to what promises to be a really exciting week of competitive action and fun, a fitting way to close out our 2022/23 season with thanks to our partners at Jones Engineering Group.
