It was a brilliant morning for Stepaside FC as three teams took to the field in Fernhill — one of the few grass pitches still playable in South Dublin — and all three proudly booked their place in the next round of their respective SFAI competitions.

U15 Boys – SFAI U15 Trophy

Stepaside 3–1 Lourdes Celtic

The U15 boys set the tone for the day, when they arrived looking sharp in their new training kit sponsored by Sherry Fitzgerald. 
Giving a strong team performance and a well-deserved victory - Clinical finishing and a determined team effort saw them overcome Lourdes Celtic and march on to the next stage.

U13 Girls – SFAI U14 Cup

Stepaside 6–0 Marks Celtic

A dominant display from the U13 girls saw them put six past Marks Celtic without reply. Confidence, teamwork, and superb attacking football were on full show — a performance worthy of the Cup journey ahead.

U12 Girls – SFAI Trophy

Stepaside 1–0 St Ita’s

The youngest of the three sides showed incredible heart in a tight and exciting contest, rounding off a perfect morning in a single goal was enough to seal the win, backed by a resilient defensive display to the final whistle.
