We’re delighted to confirm that Stepaside FC U13 Girls are through to the Last 64 of the SFAI Trophy, where they’ll face Maynooth Town in what promises to be a very special occasion.

📅 When: Friday 23rd January 2026

⏰ Kick-off: 7.30pm

📍 Venue: FAI HQ Abbotstown – under lights

This is hugely exciting news, as the DDSL have secured the Abbotstown Astro Pitch for this match—an incredible venue normally reserved for Irish international fixtures and elite development programmes. To play a knockout cup match under lights at Abbotstown is a rare honour and a fantastic reward for this group of players.

The girls should be immensely proud of themselves. In an U14 competition, Stepaside are one of only two U13 teams left in the trophy—an outstanding achievement and a testament to their hard work, talent, and commitment throughout the season.

Come what may on the night, this experience is a prize in itself—but we know the girls will be ready to rise to the occasion.
