A fantastic day of football across the club today!

Our U8s took on Beechwood and came away with some great wins, a huge turnaround after suffering heavy defeats against the same team just a few weeks ago. Brilliant progress from the group and the girls and boys equally shining in this age group! 

Our U9s faced an all-boys team at midday with our mixed squad, and at stages through substitutions they even had an all-girls team on the pitch competing brilliantly. Across the games the team recorded a win, a draw and a loss, a fantastic team effort against strong opposition.

The U12s produced an incredible comeback. Trailing 3–1, they scored two quick goals in injury time to snatch a draw, with hat-trick hero Dylan Boyle leading the charge. I do believe hearts are still pounding with the excitement! 

Our U14s were in flying form, going five goals up with another hat-trick performance from Fadil. With 10 goals in two games,we will say it again he’s definitely one to watch!

There was plenty of excitement at the academy too, as our Littler soccer players enjoyed a brilliant session in the sunshine with Collie. Our 2019 group from academy are getting ready to enter a pre-league competition later this month, so look forward to updates on this new team!
